I'm (she/her) a Freelance Costume Designer; Associate & Assistant Designer as well as a Homegrown New York Half-Puerto Rican/Nuyorican. Deadass.

I discovered my passion for Costume Design by accident; all because it blended together my love for history and fashion. Both my Abuelo & Abuela worked in the Garment District in their teens, so I credit my eye for patterns & sewing skills to them; it's in my blood.

Mixing patterns & colors and getting into the real 'design' is an important part of this job for me. You can often find me in the theatre basement rhinestoning, distressing, painting or dyeing something. I love those finishing touches that make all the difference onstage.

 

Plus I love a good piece of paperwork.
